I’m a senior designer in Dublin with 7+ years across product, brand and digital. I started in graphic design and marketing at DCU, moved into product design at a Dublin agency, and went back to education while working full time to specialise in accessibility and designing with AI.

I write accessibility specifications alongside the designs, so it is decided in the design file rather than discovered in QA.

How I DESIGN

How I DESIGN

(01)
Practical first

If it isn’t useful, people won’t use it. Plain language, obvious next steps.

(02)
Accessible by default

WCAG decisions made in the design file, not discovered in QA.

(03)
AI-assisted, human-led

I use AI tools to explore more directions, draft specs and surface edge cases faster. The decisions, the craft and the accessibility checks stay with me, because AI is confidently wrong often enough that it needs a designer in the loop.

(04)
Prototype early

With an AI-assisted workflow I can turn an idea into a working, clickable prototype in hours rather than days, so we test the real interaction instead of debating static screens.

(05)
Close to developers

Structured handover briefs, coded prototypes when Figma can’t answer the question, and staying in the build through QA.

Evidence over opinion

“I prefer this one” is an opinion to test, including when it’s mine.

WORKING PROCESS

WORKING PROCESS

[STEP-1]

Discover

Workshops and research to understand who the product is for and what they’re trying to do. AI helps me synthesise notes and map out questions and edge cases early, so sessions go deeper.

[STEP-2]

Define

Sitemaps, user journeys and priorities agreed before visual design starts. I use AI to pressure-test flows for gaps and draft short specs the team can react to.

[STEP-3]

Design (& Prototype)

Wireframes to high-fidelity UI in Figma, with accessibility specified alongside. Using AI-assisted tools, I build working prototypes that can be tested on real devices, which makes trying several options realistic instead of a luxury.

[STEP-4]

Handover & QA

Developer briefs covering states, breakpoints and edge cases, with prototype code as a reference where it helps. Then I stay in through QA until it ships.
